Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge / by James Davidson

I went out to Daqiao Park and the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge.  It is the 3rd bridge to span the Yangtze, however the first bridge to be constructed without foreign help.  I had a chance to use my 10 stop ND filter from Breakthrough Photography, and while I prefer this image in Black and White, the color neutrality on the filter is amazing, I highly recommend them.

I tried several locations in the area, due to the mouth of the river, their viewpoints are similar.  I'll have to go back and try from the Pukou side to see if there is a better vantage point.

Scattered under the bridge where hundreds of bolt caps that had fallen off, I guess they only used 40 years bolts!  At first glance, it looked like the nuts were falling off of the bridge!
